We mixed it with our salsa, and it made the perfect accompaniment for our chips. We are not big on heat, so after trying a few different sauces, we quickly settled on the sweet chili sauce, which is like an Asian dipping sauce. The little sauce containers are TINY (they hold maybe a teaspoon), so bring your basket over to the sauce bar so you can squirt the sauce directly on your meal. It's fun trying the different ones, but unless you buy more chips, you are going to run out before you try all the sauces. However, there is an unlimited, serve yourself sauce bar. Unlike Moe's, there is no salsa bar, so if you want salsa to go with your chips, you have to pay for it. His looked a lot better than mine, and he loved it. Super Hubby chose the Bangin' Chicken (crispy chicken tossed in sauce, grilled onions and green peppers, tomatoes, cheese, ranch dressing). ![]() Unlike Moe's, which has an extensive choice of free toppings that results in a huge, bulging, juicy burrito, Tijuana Flats is limited to the following standard toppings: jalapenos, onions, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream. If you're a hearty eater, you might consider getting it "mega" (double meat and cheese) for an upcharge, because there was not much cheese in my standard meal. ![]() I got it "wet" (I chose cheese as my wet topping) for an upcharge, and I'm glad because it kind of needed the sauce over it. I had the chicken and bean burrito (choice of whole wheat or flour tortilla, choice of refried or black beans). Like Moe's Southwest Grill, all entrees come with a side of tortilla chips and like Moe's, Tijuana Flats also says they serve all fresh, hormone free meat and produce that is never frozen. Unlike most places, the menu has complete calorie counts, if that's of interest to you. This is a fast-casual Tex-Mex restaurant, so it's good for a quick, reasonably priced meal.
